Malcolm Knight
Malcolm Knight has been working in the financial sector for his entire career. Following completion of a BCom BSc conjoint at Auckland University, he spent 10 years working in various roles at ANZ and National Bank before becoming a financial adviser in 2014 when he joined Rothbury.

In 2015, Malcolm set up Advice Knight Ltd and began contracting to and trading as Threefold. He launched his own brand, Advice Knight Ltd, in 2021 which has quickly expanded to become a team of seven, including two additional advisers. With his broad experience in mortgage broking, personal financial planning and insurance protection, Malcolm helps clients to make smart financial decisions based on their life stage, future goals and budget.

“I really enjoy solving problems and working out the best solutions for clients, whether that’s helping them into a home or helping them to save money”, says Malcolm.

Malcolm grew up on Auckland's North Shore and is married with two young children. His personal philosophy revolves around planning ahead, but making sure you enjoy the simple things in life along the way.

Anthony Sage
Anthony moved to NZ from the USA in 2012 and graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Entrepreneurship.
He has worked in the financial services sector his entire career and is passionate about all things investing and finance. He has worked for two large brokerages in Auckland as well as a business banker and BDM for ASB looking after their Auckland mortgage brokers. Anthony is personable and analytical, taking the time to understand the finer details of a deal.
“I really love the challenges presented when dealing with financial needs and finding the most appropriate solution. I view finance as a race, where every small decision has a big impact on your future position – making it prudent to get these decisions right and consider all options on the table”
Outside of work Anthony is often found at the BBQ cooking low and slow and is an avid martial artist that can be found on the mats of Tu Kaha Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Lauren Young
Lauren Young has extensive background in business, commercial and private banking, and investment portfolios. She is experienced in residential mortgages, commercial and construction loans, rental investment purchases, refinancing and interest rate structuring. Lauren offers specialist advice, care and lifetime support to help you reach both your short and long term financial goals.

Lauren loves to solve problems for her clients. Whether you’re buying a property for the first time, refinancing your mortgage or are an avid investor, she offers expert advice delivered with honesty, professionalism and integrity. Lauren works with clients across a range of industries and is particularly good at finding solutions for the self-employed and business owners. Rather than just looking at your short-term requirements, she will ensure you’re set up correctly now, in order to protect and grow your wealth throughout your life.

Nick Niblett
Nick spent 20 years in the advertising and marketing sector, but his passion for investing and financial strategy led him to transition into financial services. He now focuses on helping clients with two of their biggest financial assets: their home and their KiwiSaver.

“I love taking complex financial ideas and making them simple. Whether it’s buying a home, planning for retirement, or growing an investment portfolio, my job is to break it down so my clients feel confident about their decisions,” says Nick.

Holding an MBA from Massey University, Nick brings both structured financial expertise and practical problem-solving to his work. His background in digital technology and data analysis allows him to identify insights that help clients make informed decisions.

“Good financial decisions aren’t just about gut feel—they’re about having the right information at the right time. I use data and digital tools to help clients make informed choices, but at the end of the day, it’s always about understanding the person behind the numbers.”

Outside of work, Nick is a father of four boys and can often be found at the gym.

Lisette Knight
After more than a decade as the General Manager of Marketing for a prominent New Zealand company, Lisette Knight stepped into the world of motherhood in 2017. With a strong belief in property as a crucial wealth-building tool, she and her partner, Malcolm, have built their own portfolio of investment properties and a family home. As the now Marketing and Operations Manager at Advice Knight Ltd., Lisette channels her passion for real estate into Advice Knight, our experienced team, and our wonderful clients.

Corina McIntosh
Lending Manager​​
Corina has spent over 12 years working in one of NZ’s Major banks and 5 years as a Financial Advisor. She has a passion for customer service and helping Kiwi’s achieve their financial goals with long term support for success.
​
Corina is a kiwi with overseas roots. She grew up in Wellington and moved to Auckland shortly after finishing College where she has lived since. Corina is happily married with children and lives on the outskirts of South Auckland.
“I love to travel and given the chance I would be on a plane tomorrow, exploring what the world has to offer. My family are extremely important to me and spending time with them is a priority,” says Corina.

Rebecca Andersen-Lash
Rebecca works closely with our advisers and the lenders to achieve great outcomes for our clients. Rebecca brings to the role a strong financial services background with great relationship management experience and a strong credit background having started her professional career in 2017 with Youi Insurance as a Sales Adviser. She went on to Sovereign Home Loans for a little over 2 years working as a Senior Customer Services Representative before joining Threefold Mortgages in an Adviser Support role.
Rebecca went on to further extend her credit knowledge at Pepper Money and Properli where she worked as a full-time credit assessor, responsible for assessing broker lending applications.

Rebecca has a keen eye for detail always puts client service front and centre.

Rosie Knight
We are delighted to welcome Rosie Knight as the newest addition to the Advice Knight team. With a genuine passion for property and a dedication to helping others, Rosie is a valuable member of our support team, assisting our advisers in providing the highest level of service to our clients. Her commitment to our shared values makes her an excellent fit, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our small team.

Andrew Stewart
With a wealth of experience in the Education Sector, Andrew is a personable Adviser who brings a high level of customer understanding to the Advice Knight team.
